Final Amen

This morning at 1:20 Pastor won his battle. He is spending this Sunday in heaven. I knew in my heart that God would take Eric home on his favorite day of the week. Pastor's transition from this earth to heaven was peaceful. He will be missed by all of us but he is healed today. Thank you for loving us and praying for us through this difficult time in our lives. Our faith is greater today knowing we will see him again. Pastor would say to us today" I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. " 2Timothy 4:7. Keep the faith and pay forward what he has taught you. We must continue the fight for Christ. I will post arrangements later. Love Sherry

We just got home from Charleston, and so many memories of you all flooded us as we revisited our favorite places. We know that Eric is dancing in heaven this morning, but we will miss not only a wonderful man of God and communicator of God's Word but a great friend! We love you, Sherry, Shane, Shaun, & Kristen!

Sherry, We love you and are holding you up in prayer in the days to come. I'm so very sad but as Eric taught us, am trusting that God has a plan and it is best. Eric taught us much about how to live the Christian life and now has taught us how to finish strong until God takes us each home. It won't be long until we will all be there together rejoicing for all of eternity. Until then, we will keep the faith. You have been an amazing example to me and to those that love you. Praying for God's supernatural comfort and provision for you and for the kids in the days and weeks ahead.
Love,
Cathy and Joe

Long before we are saying goodbye, others in heaven are saying, "Welcome!"

Dear Sherry & family,

I will share what Dr. Schuller from
the Chrystial Cathedral said on tv
the weekend after my 1st husband
died.

"Don't look at what you have lost,
but look at what you have left,
and build from there."

Keep on keeping on my dear Sherry.
You have been such a blessing to
me with all your prayers, Pastor
too. We will all miss him, yet,
praise God for what you both have taught us along the way. Thank you for that.

Always and forever,
Your Christian Sister in the Lord,
Judy Kreidman

Thank you so very much for allowing your husband to serve the Lord with all of his heart. May the peace of God reign in your heart. Remember that sometimes we dont always understand the plans of God but we will see his glory in them in time . I just want you to know I am thinking of you all often and wish I could be there to celebrate the life of my Pastor Eric Olsen because he will always be my HERO.

WITH LOTS OF LOVE
