Thanks for the update on the arrangments. I'm not sure who to ask about this...maybe someone on the blog can pass this question on to the appropriate person. If there is any possible way you could record the funeral ceremony and post it on the website it would be so appreciated. I'm sure there are many like myself that can't come and so much want to be there. It would be wonderful to be able to listen to it.

Jamey can't get to Miami but would like to go down to Texas for the interment...who can I call for details on that? Thanks for any help - Lisa (580-467-8376 or familyb@cableone.net)

Dearest Sherry, Our hearts were shaken in many different ways today when we received the news from Missy that the battle was finally over for our friend and brother Pastor Eric. We know that he reached the top of the mountain and overcame the struggles and vulnerabilities that his body went through. Today he claimed victory and stands next to our Father to continue to inspire, unite and bless us through the memories we have of his many unique and personal moments with each and every one of us. Mary Ann, Krystia and I send all our love and are here to stand with you today and from now on for WHATEVER you need us. God Bless you and your children and Pastor's family and loved ones.
In HIS name,
Edwin & Mary Ann

Dearest Olsen Family:
Our hearts are broken with this earthly loss yet rejoice with Pastor finally reaching his heavenly home. Please know our love and prayers are with you. Just as the hymn says, And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own. And the joy we share and we tarry there, none other and ever known. God bless you today and in the days that are ahead.

My heart aches for the lost of my cousin, Pastor Eric.
It has been many years since I have seen my cousin, yet the memories of our childhood and teenage years fulfill me greatly. May God give you strenght and ease the pain of your sorrow for your great lost. I know God has open arms for Eric, for he has served God with great love. It would be wonderful if his services could be posted, for many of his family won't be able to attend.
Rest in Peace my dear cousin,
with much love

If you cannot post the services maybe you could make a DVD that could be sold with the procedes going to Sunset Chapel in honor of Pastor Eric.

Sherry, Daryl & I are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Cherisher, Eric. I don't/won't pretend to understand the loss you must be feeling.
Daryl & I will always remember Eric and all his jokes and stories. Also our family will never forget the fun we all had whether we were at Iron Mountain in the water or celebrating Tiff & Shane's birthday's at The Time Machine. Memories, special memories, Eric and you and your children are all apart of our memories.
Of course we are so glad that Eric is no longer suffering anymore and so grateful that we knew Eric and that he was our friend.
Sherry, we wish we could fill the vacant place in your heart. We know we can't,but we wish..oh, how we wish.
All our love & prayers,
Daryl & Carolyn McDonald (TX)

Sherry and family, Connie called Sunday morning with the news of cousin Eric. We will miss him greatly and have wonderful memories of him through the years. I so enjoyed the nice visit we all had in Houston a little over a year ago for Aunt Shirley's service. Eric was always such a hoot and a crazy charactor. I'm sure glad the Lord saved him, so I can spend an eternity with him. We are praying for all of you now, and know you are going through suffering and grief. I wish I could come for the services, but I will not be able to. Just know that all the Warricks are praying for you and thinking of you at this time. We love you all and may our Lord give you wonderful peace and care. Love , Cousin Cheryl

Dear Sherry anf Family,
I know this is a difficult time for you and the family, you have to just hold tight until it's our time to meet with him again. In these past 7 months that I have met you both I have learned how to read that bible more and more on a daily basis, i am so sad that we had to meet in our office and that we couldn't meet at the church. I would have loved to go to Sunset Chapel and hear the pastor preach. Sherry, in whatever I can help please let me know, you know where to reach me. My email is Jessr1129@bellsouth.net and you have the office number. I hope to see you tomorrow.
Love you all,
Jessica (Muina's)

Sherry,

I just wanted you to know that you have been in my continuous thoughts these past days. I am thinking about you and praying for you and your children this morning and just wanted to send my love. I wanted so very badly to be there, to see you and give you a hug. I just was unable to do so, so please feel the love I am sending your way. You and Pastor Eric have always been so special to me and will continue to be.

All my love and prayers,

Dear Friends,

How thankful we are at Sunset Chapel to know you are covering Sherry and her family with prayer. The next few days will be most difficult for them. Many have asked about the service and it will be taped and put on a site for all to see. We will blog later on how you can locate where it will be.

Let us join together in prayer for the viewing tonight from 6pm to 9pm and for the service tomorrow at 10:00am.

In the good times, praise His Name, and in the bad times, do the same.

In His Service,

Pastor Missy Monokian

This time is very difficult because we want the physical Eric to be here with us yet we know he is at peace. Know that so many heard his word and are now closer to God. Peace to you and your family.

What a great difference Pastor made in our lives, he wasn't the person shaking your hand at the end of Sunday service, but the friend that party at the beach and at the BBQ, that shared our table and advise when we went trough situations, quick to see you at any given moment and not "by appointment" Pastor is our friend, and we cherish all those pics from Carmen Dedication and our own Water Batism, what can I say? just that I hope to be reunited soon with him at home, we love you Sherry and God do too, please do not hesitate to call anytime for whatever you need.

Dear Sherry and Family,

Our Dear Pastor Eric won the battle. He got his victory for he was made whole the minute he went up to our Heavenly Father's arms.

Death does not defeat us it liberates us to go to our eternal home in Heaven to be with JESUS Our Saviour for eternity. Glory to His Name.

We know that you are going through difficult moments now and for the days to come, but rest assured that our LORD will sustain you and your family HE will give you HIS peace and comfort you, for HE promised never to leave or forsake us.

We want you to know that we share your pain because we love Pastor very much and we will surely miss him, but we rejoice in knowing that he finally got his healing and he is not suffering anymore and we will see him again when we all get to Heaven !What a Blessed Assurance we have in our LORD!. We are here for you and your family if you need us we will continue to pray for you and all your needs, keep trusting in the LORD for HE is faithful to all HIS promises and HE is there for you.

Sunset Chapel has been blessed to have had Pastor Olsen as our Sheppard, a true man of GOD that loved doing what the LORD called him to do and doing it with a passion, and also for you his wife standing there at his side supporting him all the time and also showing your love and support to all of us. A virtuous woman you surely are. (Proverbs 31:10-31).

Thank You for all the love you have given us and your many prayers for us and our family. It's been an honor to have met you both. Again we say our love and prayers are with you and your family. GOD Bless You.

In Christ,

Maria & Cesar
